Julie Furrer (Owner)
Julie Furrer is a local ceramic artist featured at Art and Soul Gallery in Ashland. Also she recently had a show in the Rogue Art Gallery in Medford from August thru September. She currently owns Rogue Valley Pottery Supply and Studios located at 300 E Hersey Street suite 7 & 8, which keep her very full in life teaching pottery classes, taking care of members in the studio and serving her pottery community of Southern Oregon with supply.
Julie has always been an artistic hustler in many fields of work from sewing children's costumes to culinary trial and error. But once she found ceramics in 2019 she found her home. It was an immediate love affair! All the sewing and art supplies were given away or put into storage and she dove into full time pottery from 2021 to 2024. In June of 2024 she opened the local pottery supply in Ashland and in June of 2025, she purchased the studio formerly known as Bloom Pottery, which was next door to the supply store. The learning curve has been steep but full of joy! She serves on the board of Ashland Gallery Association as Secretary and is on the Central Point Arts Commission, her hometown. She has a very supportive husband and three daughters, two away at college and the last one helps out frequently at the supply store.
